Capstone Reseach Sources
I am planning to do a capstone project on how to strategically use social media as a business tool. I have found two books that can serve as great research sources.
The first is Likeable Social Media: How
to Delight Your Customers, Create an Irresistible Brand, and Be Generally
Amazing on Facebook (and Other Social Networks) by Dave Kerpen. This book was
recommended by one of my professors and attempts to explain the secret to
successful word of mouth marketing online.
The other book is The Social Media Marking Book by Dan Zarella. This book provides easy to understand introductions to different social networking sites, blogging, forums, etc. It also says what NOT to do, which I find both helpful and interesting.
Both of these reads are approachable and easy to understand, and are packed full of insightful tips on using social media effectively. I believe that they will both be tremendous sources for my project.
